Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between your company and Allegiance Consulting LLC ("we"), 75 Hearst, Irvine, CA 92620, which provides GoSeek. By signing up or using GoSeek, you agree to them on your company's behalf and confirm that you have authority to do so.

The points most people look for: the subscription renews automatically until you cancel, you can cancel online at any time, and we do not refund the unused part of a paid period.

1. Who can use GoSeek

GoSeek is for businesses. It is not for personal, family or household use, and not for anyone under 18.

2. Signing up

Your company creates an account, goes through onboarding to choose its search queries and platforms, and then pays through Stripe. Keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you think someone else has used them. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

3. Price and automatic renewal

Checkout shows the price, how often you will be charged and how to cancel, and asks you to agree before you pay. Your subscription then renews automatically at that price, for the same period, and Stripe charges your payment method at each renewal until you cancel.

If the price or renewal terms are going to change, we will email you at least 30 days before the change takes effect. We also email a reminder at least once a year with your price, renewal frequency and how to cancel.

4. Cancelling

You can cancel online at any time from your account, with no need to call or email anyone. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not refund the unused part of that period.

5. Failed payments

If a payment fails, we try again once a day for 3 days. If it still has not gone through, your account lapses and access stops.

6. What happens to your data afterwards

We keep your data for 30 days after your account lapses or your cancelled subscription ends, then delete it. Backup copies are removed as described in our Privacy Policy. If you want a copy, ask before the 30 days are up.

7. How you may use GoSeek

Use GoSeek to understand and respond to public conversation about your business and your market. You must follow the law, and you must not:

• harass, threaten or expose anyone, or track a private individual
• use GoSeek results to decide someone's eligibility for employment, credit, housing or insurance
• resell GoSeek or its data without our written agreement
• try to get around security or usage limits, or access another customer's data

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.

8. Your data and ours

Your search terms, settings and account information remain yours, and you allow us to use them to provide GoSeek. Posts collected by GoSeek belong to the people who wrote them or the platforms that host them; we do not give you ownership of them. GoSeek's software, algorithms and brand remain ours.

9. Limits of the results

GoSeek depends on third-party platforms, which can change or block access at any time, so it cannot find every post. Sentiment scores and relevance checks are automated and can be wrong. Check anything important before acting on it.

10. Disclaimer

GoSeek is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, neither side is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses or lost profits, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Claims about your use

You will cover our reasonable costs if a third party brings a claim against us because of how your company used GoSeek in breach of these terms.

13. California law

California law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. We will email customers at least 30 days before a material change takes effect, and you can cancel before then if you do not accept it.
